“What an excellent experience from start to finish on two different jobs, 24 windows and a large patio door! This company (they act like a team) was professional, courteous, and friendly, from the owners, to office personnel, and of course the installers. The anxiety of having our house partially disassembled was alleviated upon talking with Sherry, our first contact. Thank you.
As a homeowner and consumer, I researched extensively window manufacturers and installation companies. I researched window design, construction, and reviews on the manufacturers of windows. I selected Soft-Lite windows, and selected three Colorado distributors. Upon interviewing each, I selected Colorado Classic Exteriors. Every step of the way, every question was answered (Preston recommended that Soft-Lite was an excellent choice), techniques were explained, and changes in design wishes were cheerfully rewritten.
One significant request was accommodated without hesitation. We have about 60 plants and several trees indoors. Although the normal install process is top floor first, main floor second, the team adjusted their work when we requested that all plants and trees would be corralled in the dining room, with plastic protection from winter weather. The plants and trees were moved to another area of the home and plastic again was installed to protect them against chilly temperatures.
The home was cared for during installation, and cleaned up diligently upon completion. Windows were also cleaned which was an unexpected treat.
The interior is quiet now, perfectly sealed, home temperatures are stable throughout the day, and the KingsRoyal Glide patio door is the rave!
Preston and Sherry are attentive professionals as owners. They have selected their staff carefully, and it shows. We had a great relationship with Jeannie, Kathy, Brent, Greg 1, Greg 2, Adrian, and other members of the team. Thank you again for a job and price well done!“

Jim and Brian (our installation team) were awesome, explaining what they were doing and why, taking time to ensure their work was exact and will stand up to the Colorado elements. Preston even found some specialty materials for a different house project I was doing and helped me get what I needed – they really care about the work they do and the people they are doing the work for.
This project was replacing a sliding patio door and replacing a large bay window with a French door….I will definitely be calling them again when it’s time to replace doors and windows – or any other major home projects in the future.“
